Job Summary
The Patient Support Technician functions as a collaborative member of the health care team in partnership with and under supervision of the Registered Nurse utilizing principles of Relationship-based Care.
Provides basic bedside care and selected procedures under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse, including venipuncture, 12 lead EKG, and respiratory care.
This position is eligible for a $4000 sign on bonus and offers part-time day shift employment.

Key Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Certification program with Medical/Surgical rotation OR EMT certification OR equivalent work experience
Six months direct patient care experience within past 5 years OR completion of Medical/Surgical clinical rotation OR completion of Patient Care Technician program
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
EMT licensure in State of Michigan (if applicable)
