Job Summary
The Director of Staff Development is responsible to plan and implement facility orientation, job skills training, in-service education, and a Certification Training Program for nursing assistants as required by regulations.
The DSD works with the Director of Nursing and Administrator to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times and also provides direct resident/patient care.
Responsibilities include coordinating staff recruitment and hiring, processing employment documentation, managing payroll and benefits, and planning and conducting required drills.
