Job Summary

  • This position is for the major capital improvement projects included in the Frederick Douglass Tunnel (FDT) (B&P Tunnel Replacement) Program that will modernize and transform approximatley a ten mile section of the Northeast Corridor.
  • The Sr Director of Program Management, will be responsible to oversee a multi-disciplinary team of design, program and construction management personnel to ensure delivery of the FDT Package A - Tunnels consistent with Amtrak’s Capital Delivery goals of safe, on scope, on-time and on budget project delivery.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 13 years of relevant experience
  • 7+ years of tunneling experience
  • PMP Certification
  • Experience with capital delivery in railroad operating environment
  • Technical expertise in tunnel design and construction
  • Knowledge of contracts and contract administration
  • Experience managing programs in transportation industry
