Job Summary
This position functions to assist the medication safety pharmacist in providing a safe environment for patients, staff members and visitors.
Interns will review event reports to determine contributing factors to errors, severity of the harm to the person affected and probable solution(s) to prevent errors from occurring in future.
Under the guidance of the medication safety pharmacist, interns will help with data collection, data analysis, data presentation and discussion of various patient safety projects.
