The primary purpose of the Activity Assistant is to assist the Activity Director in running a creative and interactive activities program that meets the physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of each resident.
This role involves planning and conducting individual and group activities, maintaining communication among staff, residents, families, and external agencies, and assisting with documentation and quality assurance efforts.
The work environment is generally low to moderate noise, and reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
