Key Requirements

  • Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
  • 1+ urology or surgical experience
  • Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program
  • Current license to practice in North Carolina
  • Current prescriptive privileges and DEA license
  • BLS for healthcare provider from AHA
  • Master’s or doctorate in nursing practice (for NPs)
  • Acute Care NP certification (for inpatient NPs)
  • Family and Adult NP certifications (for outpatient NPs)
  • Certification from a nationally recognized certifying body
  • NCCPA certification preferred (for PAs)
