Job Summary
The incumbent assesses patients, develops and initiates treatment plans based on the results of the evaluation.
In addition to clinical practice, the resident will receive mentoring and didactic training over a 12-13 month period.
Ensures safe care of patients by adhering to policies, procedures and standards, within budgetary specifications, including time management, supply management, productivity, flexibility based on patient census and accuracy of practice.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's or graduate degree in Physical Therapy
Current or temporary license to practice Physical Therapy by Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
Current certification in Basic Life Support
Doctoral degree along with a residency or fellowship program (for direct access)
Licensed therapist with 30 hours of continuing competence activities in differential diagnosis (for direct access)
