Job Summary

  • Plan, develop, and direct the facility’s infection control program in accordance with current rules and regulations.
  • Monitor infection practices, perform case-finding rounds, and prepare monthly summaries of resident/personnel infections for leadership review.
  • Lead the orientation of new employees on hand hygiene, PPE, and aseptic techniques, and conduct annual OSHA and CDC in-service training.
