The Workplace Safety & Health cum Environmental Officer duties and responsibilities are as follows: To assist the occupier of the workplace or other person in charge of the workplace to identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or work processes therein; To recommend to the occupier of the workplace or other in charge of the workplace reasonably practicable measures; To recommend on minimizing the risk, and safe work procedures to control the risk; To assist in implementing the measures or safe work procedures; To investigate any incidents/accidents and advise on the remedial measures to be taken to prevent any recurrence; To work closely with the relevant authorities on safety and health matters; To administer and implement an effective Safety and Health Management System (SHMS) in accordance with prevailing legislation and preparation for third-party external safety audit; Conduct Environmental, Health and Safety Audits as per requirements; Making certain that all ordinances or orders bearing on occupational safety and health and environmental are complied with local laws; To prepare and conduct the EHS training for all employees which are identified in RA and SWP;Measure and monitor the WSH performance of the project and discuss WSH performance in the WHS committee meetings; Perform ECO duties as assigned; Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as your superior/management deem fit. What we're looking for Registered WSHO and ECO Min 5 years of HDB/Commercial project experience required Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Occupational Health or other relevant discipline Thorough understanding of workplace safety, health and environmental regulations and best practices Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team to drive safety and sustainability initiatives Proactive, detail-oriented and committed to continuous improv
