  • Key duties include recruiting, hiring, and training nursing staff, coordinating pharmacy services, acting as a liaison between the facility, physicians, and family members, and managing department budgets.
  • The role requires participation in QA, Utilization Review, Patient Care conferences, state surveys, MDS and care planning coordination, and conducting employee appraisals, while also providing direct resident care as needed.
