Job Summary

  • This role is responsible for the overall health of all mechanical and electrical systems within Vantage's data centers.
  • The team performs preventative and corrective maintenance on critical infrastructure including UPS, generators, and HVAC systems without relying heavily on vendors.
  • Candidates must be comfortable working in a high-stress environment with shifting priorities and available for weekend, holiday, and on-call support.

Salary

Base: $51.00 - $65.00 per hour; Bonus: Plus bonus; Benefits: Shift differential for graveyard/swing shifts

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Hands-on industrial electrical experience
  • HVAC technician or mechanic background
  • Maintenance of UPS, PDUs, Diesel Generators
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Experience with critical cooling systems

Nice-to-have

  • Superior customer service orientation
  • Technical writing skills for MOPs/SOPs
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years hands-on experience (5+ preferred)
  • Experience with emergency generators and switchgear
  • Knowledge of MV/LV electrical distribution systems
  • Ability to create Method of Procedure documents
  • Reliable transportation for shift reporting
