Key Requirements

  • 1 year security/public safety experience
  • Security Officer Healthcare Certification (CHSO)

  • Firearm Owners Identification (FOID) Card OR Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) license
  • State of IL Department of Financial and Professional Regulation licensing requirements
  • Firearm Control Card (FCC)
  • Certified in Conducted Energy Weapon (Taser) use
  • State of Illinois 40-hour armed course
  • Pass background investigation, drug screen, physical, psychological screening
