Job Summary
This position provides advanced care for ill and injured equine and farm animal patients under the supervision of licensed veterinarians.
The role plays an integral part in a dynamic teaching environment by assisting veterinary students, interns, and residents with medical procedures.
Technicians are responsible for administering anesthesia, monitoring patient vitals, and maintaining sanitary work areas for clinical and research facilities.

Must-have
Restraining and handling large animals

Performing basic nursing care on ASA I-II patients
Collecting and processing biological samples
Operating ultrasound and X-ray equipment

Experience in a fast-paced hospital setting
Ability to teach veterinary students techniques
Prior experience with equine and farm animals

Key Requirements
AVMA or CVMA accredited degree in veterinary technology
Registration, licensure, or certification as a vet tech within one year
