Job Summary

  • As the Tower Technician I, you will work various job sites within Alaska performing general construction duties as part of the STG construction crew in extreme Alaskan conditions.

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Climbing to heights of up to 300 feet
  • General construction of tower sites
  • Installation of microwave antennas
  • Alignment and cross-polarization of antennas
  • Perform grounding, weatherproofing, and testing
  • Tower rigging and crane signaling
  • Physical labor using arms and legs

  • Team member and mentor laborers

Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) years or more experience in Construction
  • Tower Safety and Rescue Certification within 3 months
  • Rigging certification within 6 months
  • CDL required within 12 months
  • Valid state driver’s license
  • Ability to pass drug, driving, and background screening
