Job Summary
The Medical Lead serves as the senior medical leader accountable for defining and executing integrated medical strategy across Biogen's portfolio in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau.
This role requires leading medical strategies specifically for Neuromuscular Diseases including SMA and ALS while overseeing scientific exchange and partnerships with Key Medical Experts.
As a people leader, the incumbent will build and develop a high-performing medical organization of approximately 3-4 direct reports within the affiliate leadership team.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
10+ years Medical Affairs experience in Taiwan
MD, PhD, or Pharm.D. qualification required
Neuromuscular disease portfolio leadership
Cross-functional collaboration with Commercial teams
Bilingual English and Chinese communication skills

Experience with SMA and ALS therapeutic areas
Proven people leadership and talent retention

Key Requirements
Minimum 10 years Medical Affairs experience in Taiwan
Medical or scientific degree (MD, PhD, Pharm.D.)
Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance environments
Excellent bilingual communication in English and Chinese
