Key Requirements
High school diploma or GED required
Graduation from Medical Assistant program required
Certification by AMT, AAMA, NHA, or NAHP within 12 months
Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) within 12 months
Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification within 30 days
Six months of medical assistant experience or externship completion
