Leidos UK is seeking a Data Engineering Team Lead to provide technical leadership and people management within a data and geospatial delivery environment. The role involves overseeing data engineering and GIS production services and requires strong experience in data engineering, line management, and stakeholder engagement

Job Summary

  • As a Data Engineering Team Lead, you will provide senior technical leadership and people management within a high-performing data and geospatial delivery environment responsible for the production, sustainment, and continuous improvement of enterprise geospatial datasets and data engineering pipelines supporting mission-critical outcomes.
  • In this role, geospatial and spatiotemporal data will be a primary application domain. While you are not expected to be the primary hands-on implementer, strong transferable data engineering expertise is essential to enable informed technical decision-making, effective assurance, and credible leadership across complex dataflow and production contexts.
  • Accrue up to an extra 12 days of leave per year through our Life Days program.
