The Staff Occupational Therapist Assistant assists the Staff Occupational Therapist with patient related activities and direct patient care.
They are responsible for recording daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes per OT Board requirements and treating patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist and physician treatment plans.
This position requires the ability to relate positively and effectively with patients, families, staff, and professional colleagues while maintaining department equipment and participating in discharge planning.
