The Advanced Practice Provider will primarily work in the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU), where they will manage patients admitted for observation and determine their disposition and discharge needs.
When the CDU is not busy, they will also be expected to assist with patients in the Emergency Department.

Key Requirements
Nationally certified Advanced Practice Provider
Licensed Nurse Practitioner
Licensed Physician Assistant
National certification as a Nurse Practitioner
Certification as a Physician Assistant through NCCPA
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
MSN required upon hire or within 3 years of hire for external hires
Graduate of an accredited APRN program
Graduate of an A.R.C. approved Physician Assistant Program
