Job Summary

  • The Director of Staff Development is responsible to plan and implement facility orientation, job skills training, in-service education, and a Certification Training Program for nursing assistants as required by regulations.
  • Work with the Director of Nursing and Administrator to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times, while also providing direct resident/patient care.
  • Utilize information from various sources to identify education needs and organize in-service education programs for staff, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
