Job Summary
The Psychiatric ER Clinician provides comprehensive mental health and substance use evaluations to adult and adolescent patients presenting with psychiatric emergencies at OSUWMC Emergency Departments.
This role involves collaborating with psychiatrists, ED attending physicians, and other providers to develop formal treatment recommendations and determine risk levels for patients with opioid use disorders.
Clinicians are responsible for triaging complex cases, conducting crisis assessments, and linking patients to appropriate inpatient, partial, and outpatient services within the community.
