Job Summary
The primary purpose of this role is to assist in administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the nurse supervisor or charge nurse.
Essential duties include accurately and safely preparing, administering, and documenting medications, as well as observing and reporting any errors or reactions.
The position requires adherence to facility policies and procedures, maintaining resident confidentiality, and cooperating with facility surveys and quality assurance programs.
