Key Requirements

  • 7+ years of Software Engineering experience
  • BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge in industry best practices in external resource development
  • Strong familiarity with Moodle or another PHP-based LMS/CMS
  • Strong understanding of normalized/dimensional data modeling principles
  • Ability to design and work with complex data models
  • Strong knowledge of multiple data storage subsystems
  • Expertise in development languages including but not limited to: Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX, and .Net
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Good understanding in today's web application technologies, web infrastructure (software and hardware) and the devops process
  • Strong delegation skills involving prioritizing and reprioritizing projects
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
