The Parent Educator is responsible for using sound professional judgment and best practices to ensure quality services are provided to the service population while maintaining compliance with established program standards

Job Summary

  • The Parent Educator is responsible for using sound professional judgment and best practices to ensure quality services are provided to the service population while maintaining compliance with established program standards.
  • Facilitate structured group sessions using the Nurturing Parenting® curriculum modules and enroll and serve a minimum of 10 clients per month for 7 weekly sessions.
  • Demonstrate the ability to respond sensitively and competently to the service population’s cultural and socio-economic characteristics, communicate effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years related direct service experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Maintain First Aid and CPR certificates
  • Valid Texas Driver’s license
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen
  • Pass criminal background and motor vehicle check
  • Authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
