Job Summary

  • The Building Automation Specialist contributes to the strategic vision and planning, development, implementation, functionality and evaluation of building automation systems (BAS) that support, enhance and ensure effective, safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations of mechanical systems and equipment, building controls and utilities for the Wexner Medical Center.
  • Responsibilities include daily management of HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems; operational oversight of building automation systems (BAS); and assessment, resolution, and programming of HVAC-related controls issues.
  • This position ensures the effective, safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operation of mechanical systems, building controls, and utilities to provide quality indoor air and a comfortable environment across over 6 million square feet of healthcare space.
