Job Summary
Evaluate patients within twenty four (24) hours, or 1 business day of physician referral and develop effective treatment plans approved by the referring physician.
Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, aides, and students while assisting nursing staff with training and participating in patient care conferences and discharge planning.
Maintain accurate records per Occupational Therapy Board State Practice Act and governmental requirements, and recommend necessary durable medical equipment to facilitate patient independence.
