Job Summary
The Pfizer Payroll Associate is responsible for the timely and accurate execution of all payroll activities and operations for assigned payroll cycles and populations.
The role requires working closely with various teams including People Experience, Legal, Finance, and vendors to ensure compliance and system functionality.
This position requires working in the Costa Rica office 2-3 days per week or as needed and is not a remote role.

Must-have
Payroll processing and validation
Audit compliance and Sarbanes-Oxley adherence
Payroll error resolution and balancing
Payroll claims and repayments management
Use of MS Office applications
Hybrid work schedule in Costa Rica office
Nice-to-have
Experience with Workday, ADP, SAP systems
Certified Payroll Professional designation
Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
Good written and verbal English communication
Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, HR or related field or associate degree with 4 years experience
Experience in Payroll, Accounting or Human Resources
Ability to work in Costa Rica office 2-3 days per week
