Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience
  • CPR certification within six months
  • Knowledge of Wisconsin Dental Assistant statutes
  • OSHA Blood borne Pathogens standard knowledge

Nice-to-have

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate computerized applications
  • Current training certificate in HIPAA and ethics
  • Experience with EMR/EDR systems
  • Knowledge of insurance guidelines for allowable services
  • Trauma-informed care understanding

Key Requirements

  • High school diploma plus one year certificate OR three months experience
  • Must have current CPR certification or obtain within six months
  • Residency required within NorthLakes service area
  • Knowledge of OSHA Hazard Communication and Blood borne Pathogens standards
  • Understanding of Wisconsin Dental Assistant scope of practice
