Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Operate lathes, mills, drill presses
Interpret blueprints and drawings
Perform preventive machine maintenance
Use measuring tools like micrometers and calipers
Basic understanding of Mastercam Mazak Matrix/Mazatrol
Follow safety protocols in manufacturing environment
Nice-to-have
Multi-axis CNC capabilities
Ability to troubleshoot machining issues
Willingness to cross-train in other job tasks
Strong communication with leads and managers
Computer skills for time tracking and program manipulation
