Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of this role is to maintain a safe, orderly, and clean environment free of obstacles and odors within a long-term care facility.
  • Employees are responsible for cleaning all public areas, resident rooms, bathrooms, handrails, and fixtures while ensuring supplies and chemicals are kept out of reach of residents.
  • Staff must notify the Director of Housekeeping or Nursing immediately regarding any resident safety issues or concerns about supply replenishment.
