Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain interim
  • Hands-on experience with energetic materials and one-shot devices
  • Proficiency in instrumental analysis including FTIR, DSC, TGA, GCMS, HPLC
  • Ability to lift 22 lbs and work onsite in Tucson AZ
  • Experience conducting root cause failure analysis on production materials

Nice-to-have

  • Troubleshooting analytical instrument problems independently
  • Strong technical report writing skills
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary scientific projects
  • International travel capability to supplier locations
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite

Key Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience or 3 years with Advanced Degree
  • University Degree in Chemistry or equivalent experience
  • Must be able to obtain Interim U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date
