Job Summary

  • The Medical Assistant will conduct patient interviews and all required screenings, measure vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and records information in patients' Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • The MA will also draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
  • The MA may also perform administrative tasks by registering and scheduling patients for appointments, procedures, etc. using the various registrations and scheduling systems.
