This full-time, benefitted position is responsible for leading and maintaining an effective infection prevention and control program to ensure a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities include overseeing and managing the facility’s Infection Prevention & Control Program, monitoring, investigating, tracking, and reporting infections per CDC, state, and federal guidelines.
The role involves educating and training staff on infection prevention policies and best practices, conducting audits, surveillance, and risk assessments, and analyzing trends and outcomes.
