Job Summary

  • The Manager for Critical Infrastructure is responsible for the planning and operation of DIT critical infrastructure at the University of Maryland, College Park and other locations supported by DIT.
  • This position supervises two full-time Data Center Technicians and will spend considerable time in hands-on work with the Technicians to care for the infrastructure.
  • This position is considered essential and may be required to work at the normal work location or an alternative location during a major catastrophic event, weather emergency, or other operational emergency to help maintain the continuity of University services.
