Job Summary
Provides support to District schools with a high ESOL student population by implementing policies and coordinating programs to build capacity for ESOL parental involvement.
Assists staff in implementing and facilitating the NCLB guidelines for ESOL services and provides an annual orientation for ESOL parents about school, accessing the school, and ESOL program.
Offers services/information to ESOL parents and their families regarding health, child development, parent rights and responsibilities, and school improvement, and assists in coordinating services through partnerships with public and private agencies.
