Job Summary
This job provides direct care to patients and assists with non-direct patient care unit coordination, performing basic nursing procedures for patients in stable condition.
The incumbent is expected to assist the RN in the care of acutely ill patients, practice medical asepsis, respect patient dignity and privacy, and maintain objectivity during patient care.
Responsibilities include performing activities of daily living, skin surveys, vital signs, specimen collection, and documenting patient care in the electronic medical record.
