General Scrap Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance team and ensure equipment and facility infrastructure are effectively managed. Key Requirements

  • Journeyperson or senior trade professional with 8+ years industrial maintenance experience
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering considered an asset
  • Experience with development and implementation of maintenance reliability programs
  • 5 or more years of experience managing a maintenance team considered an asset
  • Proficient in blueprint and schematics reading
  • Excellent mechanical equipment troubleshooting skills
  • Understanding and knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
  • In depth knowledge of hydraulic systems
  • Equipment functionality and alignment (laser and dial)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
