Under the supervision of an anesthesiologist, the Nurse Anesthetist will perform safe anesthesia care, consisting of pre-operative assessment, administration of all types of anesthetic and techniques, patient monitoring intra-operatively, provides for intra-op course and emergence and assists as necessary in post-operative care.
The role requires a valid California RN and CRNA license, graduation from an accredited Master's or DNP program in Nurse Anesthesia, current certification by the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists, and BLS and ACLS certifications.
The Nurse Anesthetist will be responsible for performing thorough pre, intra-operative, and post-operative assessments and formulating a safe anesthesia care plan.
