Coordinate with Transmission Field Services (TFS) management and field personnel in assigned TFS Area(s), the interpretation and development of safe work methods and procedures, the implementation of best practices, development and administration of capital and/or maintenance work planning, preparation of cost estimates to applicable work, contract administration & contract oversight, lead progression testing for applicable teams, the ability to independently lead assigned initiatives, the utilization and deployment of technology, the development of streamlined documentation and reporting, the development of IT systems that will assist TFS, the identification of appropriate refresher training and new equipment training; and, assist with the facilitation of inter-region and inter-company information sharing meetings

Job Summary

  • Coordinate with Transmission Field Services (TFS) management and field personnel in assigned TFS Area(s), the interpretation and development of safe work methods and procedures, the implementation of best practices, development and administration of capital and/or maintenance work planning, preparation of cost estimates to applicable work, contract administration & contract oversight, lead progression testing for applicable teams, the ability to independently lead assigned initiatives, the utilization and deployment of technology, the development of streamlined documentation and reporting, the development of IT systems that will assist TFS, the identification of appropriate refresher training and new equipment training; and, assist with the facilitation of inter-region and inter-company information sharing meetings.
  • Provide oversight on internal crews and external contractors in assigned area, proficiency in rehab project selection, manage Capital/NSW and O&M budgets, act as TFS Progression Testing Lead, and lead in Defective Equipment Mitigation resolution coordination.

Key Requirements

  • Associate degree or 6 years utility field experience
  • High school diploma or GED and 10 years utility field experience
  • 3 years utility field experience (internal candidates)
  • 2 years strong performance as Trans Field Svcs Coord (internal candidates)
