Job Summary

  • The team provides patient care and supportive services directed towards achievement of positive patient care outcomes, maximizing the patients involvement in his/her own plan of care and reducing the length of hospitalization.
  • The Nurse is responsible for managing and providing care to the patient and his/her family, and for directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team.
  • The RN collaborates with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and the interdisciplinary team to promote patient safety, optimize surgical outcomes, and ensure an excellent patient and family experience.
