The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and the physical ability to lift patients, with preferred experience in an acute care setting
Job Summary
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) performs patient care tasks and duties which do not require a license and supports the on-going delivery of care as identified by the multidisciplinary patient management team.
The 14 bed Transitional Care Unit (A7) will provide care to patients who are deemed ready for acute care discharge from UAMS by their physician and have experienced a delay in discharge.
