The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and the physical ability to lift patients, with preferred experience in an acute care setting

Job Summary

  • The Patient Care Technician (PCT) performs patient care tasks and duties which do not require a license and supports the on-going delivery of care as identified by the multidisciplinary patient management team.
  • The 14 bed Transitional Care Unit (A7) will provide care to patients who are deemed ready for acute care discharge from UAMS by their physician and have experienced a delay in discharge.
