The Staff Nurse is responsible for managing and providing care to the patient and his/her family while directing nursing care provided by other team members.
The position supports 84 inpatient beds across 4 psychiatric units with varying adult populations including diagnoses ranging from schizoaffective to mood disorders.
The role plays a critical part in staff engagement, patient experience, quality and safety, and cost-effective care within the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
