Job Summary

  • The NC Department of Transportation connects people, products and places safely and efficiently with customer focus, accountability, and environmental sensitivity to enhance the economy and vitality of North Carolina.
  • This position serves as a project inspector on roadway and structure projects, supporting higher level technicians and engineers in the administration of construction contracts.
  • The selected employee will be expected to work outside in varying weather conditions, perform moderate physical activity, and may be required to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
