Job Summary

  • The Supervisor, Archives is expected to manage large-scale projects working with digital or physical assets at the direction of the Sr. Manager, Archives.
  • Managing these projects would include scoping out and then procuring the necessary resources to successfully complete these projects on time, including but not limited to budgeting (capex and opex), staffing (internal or vendors), and acquiring support from upper management for their projects through pitch decks, presentations, etc.

Key Requirements

  • 3 yrs minimum supervisory experience
  • Experience with physical and digital archival collections
  • Masters in Library Science, Archives Science, Museum Studies, or related experience preferred
  • Experience with collection management systems, digital asset management systems, records management systems
  • Experience writing SOPs, RFPs, policies
  • Working knowledge of archival cataloging and descriptive standards
  • Working knowledge of preservation standards (digital and physical)
