Job Summary
The position is responsible for assisting the Commissioner with the preparation and coordination of departmental activities associated with disaster and hazard mitigation, response, relief, recovery, and security.
Major emphasis of this role is on coordinating these activities with various County Departments, government agencies, municipalities, and non-government agencies during emergencies.
Employees must possess a valid license to operate a motor vehicle in New York State at the time of appointment and throughout employment.
