Job Summary

  • The primary responsibility of your job position is to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during your tour of duty in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
  • Essential duties include assisting the Director of Nursing Services, participating in policy development, ensuring reference materials are current, and making reports concerning the operation of the nursing service department.
  • The role requires ensuring adequate staffing levels, developing work assignments, delegating authority, and maintaining a good working rapport with inter-department personnel.
