The primary purpose of this job is to assist in administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of nursing staff and in accordance with established standards and facility policies.
Essential duties include accurately preparing, administering, and documenting medications, reporting errors, maintaining resident records, and cooperating with facility surveys and quality assurance programs.
The role requires maintaining a friendly, productive working relationship with colleagues and reporting any resident complaints or grievances to the Director of Nursing Services.
