Job Summary

  • The clinical physicist in Radiation Oncology is responsible for specification and acquisition of all radiation generating equipment, calibration of the treatment machines and acquisition and maintenance of all dosimetry and health-physics equipment.
  • Under indirect supervision, provides professional medical physics services at the Department of Radiation Medicine (or its outreach/affiliates) of the Medical Center.
  • Oversees and monitors treatment plans developed by Dosimetrists, and participates in development and execution of equipment monitoring, calibration, and safety surveys.
