LTD. is seeking an Operations Director who will also function as a Business Development Director to enhance operational efficiency and drive commercial growth at their Singapore shipyard. The role requires a blend of leadership, operational expertise, and business acumen, specifically in ship repair and construction sectors

Job Summary

  • The Operations Director will lead all yard operations including ship repair, dry-docking, conversion works, newbuilding and FPSO module fabrication to ensure projects meet quality, safety, and schedule standards.
  • This role drives business growth by securing new projects and managing tendering and contract negotiations while overseeing financial performance and operational effectiveness.
  • The successful candidate will champion HSE standards, develop workforce capabilities, and foster collaboration across engineering, production, and commercial teams to maintain a competent and safety-focused workforce.

  • Strong financial and commercial acumen
  • Leadership of large multi-disciplinary teams
  • Ability to develop strategic plans up to three years
