Job Summary

• This manager will lead a group in providing engineering, logistical and vendor support for standard Navy Valves and vendor proprietary-design valves that are used in nuclear propulsion plants of aircraft carriers and submarines.
• Responsibilities include developing design, operating, and maintenance improvements for nuclear valves, identifying and qualifying new-design valves for obsolete or no-longer-procurable designs, providing resolutions for in-service valve problems, conducting laboratory testing, implementing life-cycle cost reductions, and developing recommendations to the customers.
